Mrs. Jamelia Heath-Moore, Grade Level Chair

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Jamelia Heath-Moore

OPEN HOUSE

Greetings everyone, my name is Jamelia Heath - Moore and teaching is my PASSION:-)

I recently moved back to Georgia after traveling the world with my husband on military orders. My immediate family consist of my husband, 19-year-old daughter, 18-year-old son, 13-year-old son, 12-year-old son and 2-year-old baby girl. Before traveling the world, I worked with the Atlanta Public School System for 13 years as a school clerk. Throughout those 13 years of many enjoyable encounters with students, I knew that educating the minds of our future leaders was the profession for me.  It was during that time when I obtained a bachelor’s degree from Clayton State University and a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. I have had the opportunity to be an educator in several states, as well as in Okinawa, Japan. The excitement that teaching brings to me is indescribable. I will continue to find ways to ensure that I can make a difference in the lives of every child that I may meet. I believe that every child can learn, and I vow to maintain a classroom environment where school is fun, and students are able to overcome barriers to become educated at their maximum potential. We are the North and we will make a difference!!!
